Terms of Service

Effective: 2026-05-09. Operator: SideLabs ("we", "us"). Service: Webhook Inbox at inbox.sidelabs.dev.

1. Service description

Webhook Inbox is a hosted SaaS that receives, verifies, stores, retries, and forwards HTTPS webhook payloads from third-party providers (Stripe, Shopify, etc.) to your application. Configuration lives in a per-workspace dashboard at /app/.

2. Account and access

You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction) and able to enter a binding contract. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password, admin tokens, and API keys. You must verify your email before your workspace is activated.

Each workspace is owned by the user who created it. The owner can invite additional members with member or owner roles. Owners can demote, remove, and re-invite members at any time.

3. Plans and billing

Plan tiers

Plan limits are enforced as a hard cap with a 10% grace band on monthly events. Once usage exceeds the grace band, the ingest endpoint returns HTTP 429 until the next billing cycle or an upgrade.

Billing and the Merchant of Record

Paid subscriptions are billed by Paddle.com Inc. as our Merchant of Record. Paddle handles payment processing, sales tax, VAT, GST, fraud protection, and chargebacks. Paddle's Terms of Use and Privacy Policy apply to the payment relationship; ours apply to the service.

Subscriptions renew automatically each month unless cancelled. You can cancel at any time from the Billing screen in the dashboard or directly through Paddle's customer portal. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

Custom and Enterprise pricing

For self-hosted, on-premise, or volume needs above the Business tier, contact sales@sidelabs.dev for a custom quote. Custom contracts are billed annually and start at $499/month equivalent.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to use Webhook Inbox to:

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate this section, with notice where practical and immediately when the violation poses ongoing harm.

5. Service availability

We target 99.9% monthly uptime. We do not currently offer a contractual SLA on Free or Pro tiers. Business tier customers receive a private Slack channel for support and a best-effort response within 1 business day. Custom contracts may include negotiated SLAs.

Scheduled maintenance is announced at least 48 hours in advance via email to workspace owners. Emergency maintenance happens without notice when needed to address security or stability issues.

6. Intellectual property

The Webhook Inbox software, brand, and documentation are owned by SideLabs. You retain all rights to the data you store with us — webhook payloads, configurations, audit logs, and any derivatives. You grant us a limited license to process your data as needed to operate the service.

7. Warranties

The service is provided "as is" and "as available". We make no warranty that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that webhook delivery will succeed in 100% of cases. We do not warrant that the service is fit for a particular purpose beyond what is documented.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising out of the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages, including lost revenue, lost data beyond what plan retention covers, or business interruption.

9. Termination

You may terminate your account at any time by deleting your workspace from the dashboard or emailing us. We may terminate accounts for material breach of these terms with 30 days' notice (or immediately if the breach causes ongoing harm). Upon termination, your data is deleted within 30 days; backups are purged within an additional 30 days.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Georgia. Disputes are resolved exclusively in the courts of Tbilisi, Georgia, except that either party may seek injunctive relief in any court with jurisdiction.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms periodically. Material changes are emailed to workspace owners 30 days in advance. Continued use after the effective date of an update constitutes acceptance.
